During one performance, Christopher Gray opened the middle door between the two rooms and hit himself in the head, splitting open his eyebrow. He tried to curtail the bleeding with an onstage bedsheet but it had no effect except to leave gruesome bloodstains on the sheet. Eventually, he received "medical attention" backstage and did the rest of the performance with a prominent bandage on his head.
As the play closed so close to Halloween, the cast party was a costume party as well. Leslie Kay arrived at the party dressed as the toilet plunger in the play, complete with bright green pants and shirt and a black mop-top wig.
