The trophies on stage are actual TAP-sters won by members of the cast. TAP-sters are TAP's equivalent of the Oscars and the winning statues come from Laurel Dewar (Best Actress), Lisa Broe (Best Actress) and Scott Broe (Best Director).
The majority of books on stage were donated for free from the Burlington Reuse Center and include everything from children's books to university texts.
During one performance, a bucket and a roll of toilet paper was placed backstage. Prior to the show, one of the actors had been vaccinated for an upcoming trip overseas. Unfortunately, the vaccination caused certain bodily functions to flow more freely than normal and with little warning to their appearance. Luckily, the bucket was never used.
Vic Hyde, who reviewed the show for the Burlington Post also reviewed Romantic Comedy 25 years earlier, featuring (TAP's director) Judi Skinner in the role of Kate Mallory.
